A week-long Solstice party of cultural and arts events, celebrating the natural world of our valley, Japanese-style! With the high-powered rhythm of Japanese drumming, film screenings, family events, food and drink, a festival market and performances, our celebration culminates in the Japanese fire ceremony – a dazzling street fair lit by the blaze of torches. 2012 JACKSON HOLE FIRE FESTIVAL THU, JUNE 14 Mix’d Media: Inside Out Presented by the National Museum of Wildlife Art in collaboration with the Public Arts Initiative and Friends of Pathways

 The Museum’s programs move from the inside to outdoors to celebrate the first sculpture installation for the new Sculpture Trail. Enjoy an early summer evening of music and art, ride your bike and help launch the Festival’s mikoshi for the spirits of the air and wind. FRI, JUNE 15 Up Close: Contemporary Dance Wyoming

 A Japanese-style street fair and fire ceremony, perfect for all ages. Taiko drumming, Japanese food and drink, tea house, children’s games and activities, all lit by the blaze of torches under the summer stars. Explore a variety of booths featuring Japanese crafts as well as local artists.
