Jackson lawyer Brad Mead is one of a dozen members of the University of Wyoming’s board of trustees. Like his late grandfather, former Wyoming Gov. Cliff Hansen, Mead believes in the transformative power of education.
Tribute to Cappy
Over and over last week, family and friends of Joe Casey, the Jackson Hole Moose Hockey captain who died suddenly Feb. 4, gathered to grieve for, remember and celebrate a man whose happiness was infectious, energy endless and stories prolific.
The fast and the fun
This weekend, horse teams from across the West will thunder down a snowy quarter-mile track at Melody Ranch. The Jackson Hole Shrine Club’s 42nd annual Cutter Races will include Calcutta betting, men in funny hats and elaborate tailgating setups.
This year’s Jackson Hole Showcase will feature comedy, theater, rock, bluegrass and even opera, all provided Friday night by your talented friends and neighbors.
