School sinks, rethinks
Proponents of a new school on Nethercott Lane are reconsidering their proposal after Teton County planning commissioners voted against regulations necessary for the project to move forward. County commissioners are still scheduled to review the proposal in December.
KGB wins Video Blitz
Using humor, maps, statistics and some lucky stock footage, KGB Productions won 1 Percent for the Tetons’ Video Blitz on Saturday. Eight filmmakers raced to make shorts about environmental projects in one week.
Towner proves tough
Costumed participants threw themselves up Snow King, into mud puddles and over hurdles in Jackson’s inaugural obstacle race. The Tough Towner tested team and individual resolve, as well as racers’ threshold for fun.
Capturing the West
On Friday, photographer William Albert Allard will speak at a reception to open National Geographics Greatest Photographs of the American West exhibit at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. The show opens at 10 museums this week.
